Privacy Policy

This policy explains how evoke handles personal information across evoke.black, the attendee experience, organizer tools, and our internal operations surfaces. It is written to match the product as it exists today and should still receive formal legal review before launch.

What This Policy Covers

This Privacy Policy explains how evoke collects, uses, stores, and shares personal information when you use our attendee applications, organizer tools, admin portal, websites, event pages, ticketing flows, customer support channels, and related services.

It applies to attendees, organizers, invited team members, promoters, venue staff, and other users who interact with evoke-controlled experiences.

Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly, including your name, email address, phone number, profile details, event preferences, support messages, organizer business details, payout information submitted through our payment partners, and content you upload or publish through evoke.

We also collect usage and device information such as approximate location, device identifiers, app interactions, browser metadata, ticket activity, marketing attribution, and diagnostics that help us secure and improve the service.

How We Use Information

evoke uses personal information to create and manage accounts, process bookings, deliver tickets, authenticate users, support organizers, detect fraud, communicate about transactions, recommend events, analyze product performance, and comply with legal obligations.

We may also use information to send operational notices, promotional messages, or product updates where permitted by law and subject to your communication preferences.

How Information Is Shared

We share information with event organizers when needed to fulfill registrations, manage attendance, support check-in, handle guest communications, or investigate disputes relating to an event.

We also share information with service providers that support hosting, analytics, payments, communications, customer support, fraud prevention, and infrastructure, and with authorities where required by law or to protect rights and safety.

Payments, Tickets, and Event Operations

Payment card information is processed by third-party payment providers and is not stored by evoke in full. Organizers may receive attendee details necessary to run their events, honor ticket purchases, and provide event-day support.

If an event is changed, postponed, canceled, or reconfigured, evoke and the organizer may use your information to notify you, coordinate refunds or credits, and manage check-in or post-event issues.

Your Choices and Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain uses of your personal information, and to request a copy of the data associated with your account.

You may also update profile information, change notification settings, unsubscribe from marketing emails, or request account deletion by contacting support.

Retention and Security

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, support event histories, comply with legal and tax obligations, prevent fraud, and resolve disputes. Retention periods may vary depending on your role and the type of data involved.

evoke uses administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information, but no platform can guarantee absolute security.

International Transfers and Children's Privacy

evoke may store and process information in countries other than your own, including where our service providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate transfer safeguards.

Our services are not directed to children under the minimum age required by applicable law to create an account independently, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law.
